A Grave Before Shave Haul

Back in February I posted about my first collection of Grave Before Shave beard care products. The collection (if you’re opposed to clicking above) consisted of their Viking Blend beard oil, their Bay Rum beard oil, some Grandpa’s Wonder Pine Tar Soap and a sweet little switchblade mustache comb. A pretty fun collection and some top-quality products, if you ask me.

But no matter the quality the fact remains: shit eventually runs out. And I’m at that point. Not only was I out of beard oil but the Old Spice pomade I’ve been using only had about a day left in it and I had used the last of my re-ordered Wonder Pine Tar Soap weeks ago. It was time to replenish, especially once I found out that Grave Before Shave sold a partner’s pomade straight from their site.

I found that if you order the 3 pack of Grandpa’s Wonder Pine Tar Soap from Amazon you can save about $5 from ordering it on the GBS website. Sorry, guys, but I ordered the soap separately because of this. Otherwise, I decided it was not only time to get some new oil and pomade, but was a great time to go ahead and try out some mustache wax since that’s a world I’ve not entered yet and, heck, while I’m at it, why not a t-shirt, too? They even threw in a few other goodies…

Below you’ll find:

  • Fisticuffs Old Fashioned Mustache Wax
  • Grave Before Shave Gentlemen’s Blend Beard Oil
  • Suavecito Firme Hold Pomade
  • A sweet Grave Before Shave koozie (front & back)
  • Fisticuffs / Grave Before Shave t-shirt
  • A slew of stickers for various Grave Before Shave and Fisticuffs products

First of all I can’t get over the contents of the seemingly small package that came in the mail today. If the Fisticuffs/Grave Before Shave guys are reading this, THANK YOU so much for sending along the extras. Cheaply made and bought in bulk, I’m sure, but the extra touch was thoughtful and makes me glad I choose you all for my beard care needs (what a weird thing to say). Erin has already signed off on the bourbon-esque scent of the Gentlemen’s Blend beard oil as well as the Suavecito pomade. Now I’ve just got to learn how to make this mustache wax work. Be prepared for Instagram selfie city in the next few weeks!

If you’d like, we’d all appreciate it if you’d give these guys some love on social:

    • I’m a pretty big fan of their stuff, that’s for sure! And yes, I’ve linked somewhere above to a previous post where I got my first batch of GBS goodies and it included their Viking Blend and their Bay Rum beard oil. Both were wonderful but I was particularly partial to the Viking Blend – mostly just liked the smell of it a bit more. A bit more musky and…”manly” I would maybe say? The Bay Rum smelled like a pina colada which is not a bad thing, either.
