What a 1/2 and 1/2 day it’s been…
Today I received the Super 8 camera I won on eBay late last week. It’s super cool, though I’m not entirely sure it functions and don’t have batteries to power it, film to capture to or a projector to play back on, but I’m a step in the right direction. I’ve always been a fan of how Super 8 is / was used in films and especially now that I’ve got this bug in me that needs to make something, having the Super 8 style in my arsenal will only lead to cooler projects in the future. I also have reason to believe that this particular camera captures audio, too, though I’m not really interested in such a thing in my Super 8, but it’s there in the event…Ya know.
On a less happy note, I lost the auction for the touch screen adapter that I was bidding on with hopes of creating a home made jukebox kiosk in the basement by the bar. I have (or at least think I have) lined up a computer to use for this purpose, a helluva music library to load up and a killer location for such a thing…Just no touch screen adapter for the monitor which is a key part. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for another, though this particular one was a steal for only $25.00 including shipping (cheap!). In my short research I’ve found that it’s nearly impossible to find a touch screen monitor for less than $300.
No big deal, I don’t guess…It’s not like I don’t have a script that needs to be finished or anything.
Enjoy today’s haiku:
It’s interesting
Spell check, being so picky
Accepts “Helluva”
