Earlier this week Katie asked me to list my top 5 or 10 bands. A simple ask that requires somewhat little thinking … but that wasn’t good enough for me. I whipped out my sketchbook and pen and I not only jotted down who I thought my top 10 bands were, but I pitted them against each other in a Battle of the Bands to determine the TRUE top 10.
But even then, that wasn’t good enough. What if I also chose my 10 favorite songs from my 10 favorite bands? And what if I chose them using the same method I chose the order of the bands? That’s right. 10 bands, 10 brackets and 100 songs total to develop the ultimate “top 10” playlist for my Spotify.
