Haven’t done one of these in a little while so I took on Those Darlins, an incredible honky-tonk / rock / borderline-punk at times foursome from roughly my neck of the woods. We caught them opening for OK-Go at the Mercy Lounge in Nashville last November and I’ve been in love ever since.

This portrait took me a little longer than the others – obviously because I was doing four different people with the addition of a little more of an environment than I’ve given my other subjects. It took me rough about eight-ten hours to complete, all in Adobe Illustrator CS5. I’m thrilled with how well it came out and as the photos show, they were pretty impressed, too! Check it:
